Account Executive

Notion is seeking seeking a strong Account Executive to work closely with the account service and creative teams to develop exceptional brand experiences for our clients.



The Account Executive (AE) is instrumental in managing projects and understanding client verticals to support the overall business. The Account Executive collaborates closely with portfolio leads and the creative team. The position requires outstanding communication and organization skills, the ability to function professionally in a faced-paced agency environment. The Account Executive demonstrates an understanding of the client’s overall business objectives and strategies and is dedicated to meeting all (and sometimes tight) deadlines. The Account Executive will have the opportunity to lead special projects from time to time.

  • Manage smaller projects or smaller client verticals (<$500K)

  • Manage client communications (via emails and calls) with account lead oversight

  • Own and manage project status

  • Demonstrate an understanding of client’s business, industry and products

  • Develop Project Overview

  • Develop SOWs

  • Develop and manages timelines

  • Develop project reports

  • Oversee project budget

  • Manage client and project-related research

  • Manage billings – send invoices

  • Manage client feedback and communicate with team

  • Work with account lead to nurture client relationship – organic growth

  • Partner with business development team or client relationship manager to provide input on proposals

  • Raise and maintain awareness of client issues and risks – inform team of potential problems and help provide solutions

  • Identify opportunities for improving project process and client opportunities and proactively initiate dialogue with managers

  • Help develop staffing plan

  • Manage freelancers and help prioritize their use

  • Mentor Account Coordinators and other entry-level employees

  • General admin, team and account support, including special projects
