Notion turns 11: A gratitude series for our creative journey

At Notion, we’re cranking it up to 11! 🎸

This October through November, as we celebrate our creative agency’s 11th anniversary, I’m reflecting on the people and moments that transformed three guys with a dream into a 35+ person powerhouse. Inspired by Spinal Tap’s iconic “one louder” amp, we’re sharing 11 stories of gratitude on LinkedIn — honoring mentors, colleagues, clients, and more who shaped our journey.

From a shy college kid new to business relationships to building a B2B creative agency trusted by Fortune 500 brands, my path (and Notion’s) is all about people who turned our passion and design skills up to 11. This series, running through Thanksgiving, is our way of saying thank you — and inviting you to share your own stories of gratitude.

The power of gratitude in business (and life!) is incredible, as long-term relationships are the best way to tell Notion’s story and our individual careers.

Check back here every few days as we update this post with links to each LinkedIn story looking at our creative agency’s anniversary. After all 11 posts are live, this page will be your one-stop hub to relive the #NotionAt11 journey.

Post 2 – Looking Back on College Jobs & Leadership Opportunities: “I have T-shirts older that some of my employees…”

Post 3 – Foot in the Door (FH Internship Opportunity): Meeting John and Louis for the first time … ~11 years prior to us starting Notion (also the reason why we have a summer internship program!)

Future posts will explore Matt’s hidden skills in PowerPoint design, tackling the marketing world by storm, adopting kids (and the value of a flexible workplace), former colleagues offering referrals and building a culture of hard work and caring for each other.
